-New Screens and character icons in the Design Page
-New updated models from Mike Gee, who is now currently off the project due to school obligations. I'll be taking over for him, but he did a great job in the time he had. Good luck with school, Mike!
-New Texture for Fox. Stage 2. Real close to having his texture final now.
-The rigging section is up! Because Fox is rigged and ready to go aside from Morph targets. If you want to see what he'll look like moving.. thats where you go. Posed renders. Enjoy em.
And thats all for now. It's slowly plugging along, but it's something, right? It won't be long before Fox is animatable. When i get that going, i'll definitely post it for a peek. But check out whats new, because it's a fair amount!

Fox vs Red is:
A short animated 3d film. A comical battle between two characters set in a fake videogame world.
Currently in production, but also being done with a few artists in their spare time. it is currently unknown when it will be completed, but there will be updates as production continues.
The main Artist responsible for content and creation is Nate Horsfall.

FVR is live!
I finally decided to take the bulk of work done so far, and get it online.
So just browse what you want, and check out whats there. It will be a very long time before it's even close to done, but at least you can see what myself and the others have been up to over the past 6 months or so. Rigging and so on, has nothing to show yet.
Don't expect another update for another 4 or 6 months, but at least the site is up now.

A small, but very significant update today!
Morph targets and Fox facial expressions shown!
You wanna really get a taste of what the project will look like, completed? Head over to rigging and check it out. He looks directly ripped from my drawings.. I'm very excited. So much in fact, that I will probably start animating him over this weekend or at least, very very soon. Dying to get to it. Love that feeling of anticipation.

Another update. They're rare, I know.. going at a rate of 3-4 months each time. The reason for this one is that I had a job for.. surprise! 3-4 months time. It actually started in October and went til end of Feb. But enough about the excuses. Whats new here?
-The design page has two new characters on it. Ali's characters which I colored. only one more to go, and then the selection screen is finally done! Well, almost anyway.
-Fox.. animated. Yup, thats right! We now have an animation page. I highly, highly suggest checking it out. It's one of the closest real looks at FVR that you're going to see just yet. Fox, in action! Go look!
-I'm also very happy to say that Red is coming along. Eric is still working on her, and it will be awhile before she's finished, but he got a "first pass" done today. Now we just have to spend the next decade dealing with my endless nitpicking! Hey, I'm protective of these characters...
And thats it for now. Who knows what the next thing will be to show. There are many chances for some cool stuff. As always, I'll post when I get it. Thanks for sticking with this little neverending project.

A bunch of new updates today!
-The Animation page has a bunch of new still renders and a new movie for Fox's intro. Consider it version 2. And if you hated the background before.. well, I did say that was temp. It's a giggantic improvement now.
-The Modeling Page has a shot of the background models all set up for mock placement. And! A first pass on Red.
And then I have a little bonus for you guys. How about a wallpaper? My little thanks for sticking with me.
You might notice the header looks different.. Thats because, today is one really big important update, after long last...
-Thats right, The Animation page has a "Final" version of Fox's Intro. This includes final animation, background, and lighting. It DOESN'T include final effects and final post rendering just yet. But this is pretty much what you can expect that to look like, except for added effects. Comments are very welcome, and as a few people have pointed out.. By all means, go frame by frame through it. It's extremely crafted and solid. About time I stop working on it already!
And in FVR news, Eric is working away on Red, but nothing extremely significant to post just yet.
FVR also got 2 more people on the project, sort of.
Manny Marquez was brought on to help with special environmental effects on Fox's Intro. How about some breaking glass, anyone?
And Jim Castille was brought on to Model the Razor Jet. He's currently busy with other projects, but with luck, we'll eventually see that created in 3d. It would be awesome to use it.
Thats all the updates for now. I Apologize as always for the slow updating this place gets, but since the last period, I've really only had maybe 2 or 3 weeks to put time in on it again. But cmon, you were used to that by now, right?

Another update! And another completed piece.
-Thats right, The Design page now has the final piece to System V: The VS Movie Screen.
That being the screen that shows when the Intro Movies for Fox and Red play. Sure, I could have just done a fade to black and called it done.. But that wouldn't work with this being a full machine. So you can see it, in all it's glory.. well.. right here!
Pretty happy with how that came out. And even happier to call another part of FVR "Complete".
Next priorities are Red, and the background! I couldn't tell you when those will be done, but hey.. getting closer!

Red is up! I've actually had these ready to post for almost 3 months now.. But you see.. I got really bvurned out for a bit there. Why? Go see.
Eric finished the Red model, and I moved on to the texture pass of it. The texturing is what burned me out. Thousands.. and I'm not kidding.. THOUSANDS of hand drawn feathers. It paid off in the end, but wow.. that really kind of killed me. I finished that back in March, but never even felt like uploading it properly, until just tonight. Sorry about that.
